At RGT, we have a very active youth group that is a vital part of our church. Our youth takes part in everything at RGT, and for that we are very thankful. We have a wonderful youth choir, groups, and solos within the choir. We have classes for all ages both on Sunday mornings and during our your fellowship on Wednesday night. We presently have two ministers in our youth group. On the months that have five Sundays, our youth does all the singing, teaching and leading of services.
Our youth activities during the year include a ski trip, a theme park trip, and a WVU football game, with other activities in between.
Each year, our youth and several of our adults attend church camp at Camp Caesar in Webster County. It certainly is a spiritual lift for us all. Several churches go together for this week of fellowship which encourages the youth and shows them that they are not the only young people serving the Lord.
Church camp has grown from 60 people 14 years ago to 400 in 2005. Each year, many people are saved and baptized , and the youth comes back with new enthusiasm for the Lord and their work in His kingdom.
